Professional-quality sound.

Record and edit podcasts, music, interviews, or presentations all with the same high fidelity.

Fast and intuitive editing.

Tweak levels and EQ, apply digital effects, and save in all major file formats. Batch process files using Automator or Applescript.

Regularly updated.

Sound Studio is regularly updated to take advantage of the latest Apple software.

Sound Studio has a long history, and it now contains all of the tools needed to create professional mixes. You can apply crossfades, adjust the equalization, and jazz up your productions with natural-sounding delay, chorus, flanger, echo, and reverb effects. You can also clean up old recordings and repair clicks and pops either by interpolating samples or silencing them completely. The backward/reverse audio function will even help you decode those satanic messages hidden on your heavy metal albums.

This is an excellent sound editor. I've been using it to produce a radio show for years. Reasonable price and very easy to use.

I use this app to edit recordings of church services. The marker and splitting implementation make this process so fast and easy; it's amazing. The UI is intuitive.... I find this software simple, straightforward and a joy to use.
